Hi, I know there are heaps of threads discussing the optiver trader test. But I had a specific question which I couldnt find the answer to. Im looking to apply to optiver and a few similar firms and have been practicing for the test at tradertest.org. You should practice basic calculation skills, like 12 x 14, 360 / 12, 784-293 etc. Also practice number sequences, like 2 3 5 8 ? Optiver has been hiring a good number of students from IIT-Bombay for the last 2 years. It has become one of the most craved firms here at IIT-B, purely because of the job location, the lucrative package it offers, and also the kind of work it does. I applied online. I interviewed at Optiver in February 2018. Interview. The numerical test was fine, was reasonably basic mental math and speed based, the second one was behavioral, pretty typical with questions like, why did you choose Optiver, why do you like trading etc. Hi, I know there are heaps of threads discussing the optiver trader test. Optiver has a very rigorous testing and interviewing process. It takes 3 written tests, and after every test it scalps approximately 50% of the students. Shortlisting for the test is based on your Resume and CPI. Around 50% students are shortlisted for the test out of the total students who applied.
